What is a wpd file?
WPD is the native document format for WordPerfect, Corel’s word processor that dominated the market before Microsoft Word took over in the 1990s. Law firms in particular used WordPerfect extensively, and many still do, which means WPD files show up more often in legal contexts than anywhere else today.

WordPerfect’s decline is well documented but its disappearance was never total.
